Your role
You will design, code, and debug interactive applications, and sometimes also fix what others developed.
You will help to migrate our software and services to AWS and utilize the AWS services ecosystem.
You will monitor and automate deployment tasks and be responsible for scalability and availability.
You will participate in our rotating on-call duty (approx. every 4 weeks)
You will maintain our microservice-based SaaS application in a Kubernetes environment, serving companies and organizations worldwide.
You will support our project development teams and communicate with colleagues.
You will work in an agile team.
Your skills
- You have a solid background in software development principles and working with large-scale software architectures.
You have experience with building software as part of a distributed test-driven agile.
You demonstrate the ability to build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, deployment, and rollbacks.
You have practical experience deploying and maintaining web applications within cloud services (especially AWS) and using their service-oriented offerings.
You have experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as code using either AWS Cloudformation or Terraform.
- You have working knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration. Experience installing, configuring, and managing services using Helm charts for repeatable deployments.
You are familiar with general web technologies (HTTP protocols, RESTful services, reverse proxies, and load balancing.).
Good to have understanding of network infrastructure such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, etc.
You actively use AI technologies for development and operations-related tasks.
- Your English language skills are at least intermediate, both written and spoken. Being able to communicate in German is a plus.
You have a high sense of responsibility and service awareness.
