The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz - BFSG) takes effect on June 28, 2025. It requires websites to be accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

The law covers companies of all sizes. Only micro-enterprises with fewer than 10 employees and €2 million annual revenue are exempt.
