Responsibilities
Performing ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting).
Creating and posting invoices, credit notes, and reminders.
Reviewing, allocating, and booking incoming invoices.
Processing payments and bank entries.
Reconciling and maintaining accounts.
Preparing monthly VAT advance returns.
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (and IFRS if applicable).
Processing provisions and accruals.
Maintaining master data in the accounting system.
Collaborating with tax advisors, auditors, and internal departments.
Assisting with other tax-related matters.
Preparing analyses and reports for management.
Your Skills
Language skills in German (at least C1) and English (at least B2).
Completed commercial training or (technical) university degree, e.g. office clerk, financial accountant or completed bachelor's degree in economics.
At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting and controlling.
Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs is a must.
A confident use of Oracle Netsuite, Google Suite and Slack is desirable.
You have experience communicating with customers.
High level of initiative, attention to detail, sense of responsibility, reliability and resilience.
You enjoy being actively involved in changes and are motivated to further develop yourself.
Your strengths include excellent analytical skills and a precise and structured way of working.
