Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-centered interfaces for web applications, ensuring they are visually engaging, intuitive, and accessible

  • Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and iterate based on feedback

  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand and influence the implementation of designs, ensuring consistency across devices and screen sizes

  • Maintain and improve the UI/UX design system, ensuring consistency in style, branding, and usability standards

  • Analyze and optimize existing user interfaces to enhance usability, functionality, and user satisfaction

  • Work within agile teams, attending stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align design work with development cycles

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in UI/UX design, web technologies, and industry standards

Your Skills

Technical

  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar software

  • Familiarity with prototyping and animation tools like InVision, or After Effects

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to discuss design feasibility and limitations effectively with developers

  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, grid systems, and web typography

  • Experience with UX research methods, including A/B testing, heat mapping, and user journey mapping

  • Ability to create and manage style guides and design systems

Personal

  • Creativity: Able to think innovatively and bring fresh ideas to the design process

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure precision and consistency in all design aspects

  • Empathy: Deep understanding of the user’s needs, motivations, and pain points

  • Negotiable English knowledge, German is a plus
