The Customer

Hannover Re is the world's third-largest reinsurer with a premium volume of over EUR 24 billion. It covers all lines of property and casualty, life and health and financial reinsurance as well as program business and maintains re-insurance relationships with more than 3,000 insurance companies in around 150 countries. Its global infrastructure consists of over 100 subsidiaries and affiliates, branches and representative offices in 19 countries.

The Goal

Beautiful, secure, clear, consistent: A relaunch of the extensive website was intended to not only present Hannover Re itself in a new, modern look, but also to integrate the more than 100 subsidiaries and affiliated companies, branches and representative offices of one of the world's largest re-insurers into one coherent and joint web presence.

The Implementation

At the center of Hannover Re's Internet offering is a comprehensive press and newsletter section for investors and journalists, which is now available at all locations. Despite the high volumes of data involved, Hannover Re can send out newsletters very quickly and efficiently using the platform’s integrated newsletter tool and CRM. In addition to the extensive media center, we also included areas for investor relations, online recruiting, and numerous feedback forms on the website. An important reason for the relaunch was to make the site content usable for omnichannel: the front end now adapts the site's various control elements to different display sizes and end devices. This means users can conveniently access the content and other offerings across all channels.

The Result

Using JustRelate’s content management solutions, Hannover Re has relaunched all its web applications and pages. We achieved the consistent corporate design and branding through a cloud-based content management platform that provides the Hannover Re group with a flexible homepage construction kit from which the subsidiaries can build their own pages and thus very easily comply with design specifications. All digital assets such as images, videos and other documents are also managed centrally; all editors worldwide can access them.
