The Customer

Francotyp-Postalia - the globally operating FP Group, headquartered in Berlin, is an expert in secure mail business and digital communication processes. As the market leader in Germany and Austria, FP Group offers products and services related to "Franking and Inserting", "Mail Services" and "Software" for efficient mail processing, the consolidation of business mail as well as digital solutions for businesses and government agencies. Francotyp-Postalia has subsidiaries in ten countries and is represented in a further 40 countries through its own sales network.

The Goal

FP's solutions were to be marketed worldwide via a new platform, with uniform brand management. FP wanted to be able to flexibly implement country-specific content and landing pages on this platform. The company’s digital strategy required the implementation of a future-proof solution. To achieve this, a native cloud platform was chosen as FP’s central system. By dispensing with the company's own servers, performance was to be improved and operating costs reduced. It was also necessary to optimize the websites to improve SEO ranking.

The Implementation

JustRelate developed a strategy for the digitalization of FP’s business. As early as 2016, the team started to build a digital experience platform that runs natively in the cloud. More than 50 websites and apps were migrated to this platform step by step – including the country sites for USA, Canada, Italy, Sweden, UK and many more. FP also has access to a new digital asset management system that greatly simplifies the management and updating of marketing materials, images and videos and ensures international brand consistency. Special attention was paid to the creation of landing pages for lead generation and a live chat function was implemented, too. 

The Result

The new technical platform has reduced the editing workload for FP and saved operating costs. Editors can now create content or new landing pages much faster. All projects are edited directly in the web browser and the pre-built widgets make it easier to add new features. The technical performance of the website has improved: pages load faster, visibility to customers and prospects has improved as a result, and page views and leads have increased. With the CRM tool, FP has also strengthened its email marketing. Newsletters and event invitations are now easier to create and send. The relaunch streamlined the company's international presence and strengthened its brand management.
