The technology marketing of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) is determined by decentralized and complex sales processes, reports Dr. Martin Nedele, Head of Sales and Acquisition. The main task of his department, he says, is to actively market DLR's immense scientific and technological know-how worldwide. By "bridging the gap," Nedele said in his presentation at the action area, he means dovetailing knowledge and processes from research with market requirements. The presentation of PisaSales in Nuremberg was dominated by new functionalities and an expansion of the modular product concept. For example, the solution is being expanded to include a service module, which offers significant added value to users from technical, manufacturing and project-oriented industries in particular. "The volume of inquiries for a CRM suite that integrates marketing, sales and service holistically was enormous," says Heinrich Windhorst, who is responsible for sales of the solution. "There were only smiling faces at PiSA and our visitors! The response was even much greater than we had expected. Of course, the location and the professional cooperation with the organizer in advance also had an effect. So we certainly like to come back to Bavaria!", confirms Christian Weisz, Marketing Team Lead, the positive assessment of the trade fair appearance.
