FFG Group relies on CRM solution from PisaSales

The globally operating industrial conglomerate FFG has decided to implement PisaSales CRM.

In the future, the group will use the new solution to optimize its sales and service processes within the network of the group's European and American machine tool manufacturers (FFG Europe & Americas).

Founded in Taiwan in 1979, the FFG Group quickly became the country's largest machine tool manufacturer with brands such as Leadwell and Feeler.

Today, FFG is active with more than 80 companies in the business areas of machine tool manufacturing, printed circuit board technology, industrial equipment and environmental technology. FFG Europe & Americas unites leading traditional brands in machine tool manufacturing such as VDF Boehringer, Hessapp, Pfiffner, Jobs or MAG and employs around 1,600 people in Germany and around 2,500 worldwide.

The main objective of the CRM project at FFG is to provide all employees with a 360° view of all customers, leads, prospects and competitors as well as the mapping of all core processes from the areas of sales and customer service in a central and consistent corporate solution.

The decisive factor for the investment in the CRM solution from PisaSales was, in addition to the broad and modern standard functional scope, the industry expertise that PisaSales brought to the table through numerous successfully implemented CRM projects in mechanical and plant engineering. Furthermore, the multi-client capability and multilingualism of the PisaSales CRM can ensure the smooth connection of the international FFG locations in a later project phase.

The mobile availability of CRM data for the field sales force is also a particular priority for FFG. The PisaSales CRM takes this requirement into account with its individually customizable apps for iOS, Android and Windows devices. Especially for the technical customer service at FFG, convenient app functionalities such as mobile working time recording and the feedback of these times including installed spare parts, consumed materials etc. for billing to the head office are ideally suited. The sales department benefits in everyday work from a visit report app, with which the needs of the counterpart can be digitally documented via freely configurable questionnaires and follow-up tasks for the office staff can be automatically delegated.

Likewise, communication between individual teams and across departmental boundaries is to be strengthened. Here, PisaSales offers features such as transaction-based chat collaboration, with which colleagues can exchange information about the latest updates of a quotation negotiation or the current status of a service call, for example. Lightning-fast push messages - if subscribed - inform all involved employees when a colleague posts a message in the chat or when there is news regarding a transaction in the CRM system (e.g. quote won).

On the technical side, the PisaSales CRM will be deeply integrated into the existing IT infrastructure of the FFG Group. This includes a complex coupling for bidirectional data exchange with a large number of different ERP systems (including those from SAP, Sage and proALPHA), which have so far been used separately in the evolved FFG Group structure.
