Associations

Bitkom is Germany’s digital association. Founded 1999 in Berlin, we represent more than 2,000 companies of the digital economy. Our membership spans more than 1,000 SMEs, over 500 startups and virtually all global players.

Our members offer software, telecommunications and internet services, produce hardware and consumer electronics, operate in the digital media sector or are in other ways affiliated with the digital economy. More and more companies across all sectors are joining Bitkom as they digitise their business models.

With over 3400 members, the VDMA is the largest network organization and an important voice for the mechanical engineering industry in Germany and Europe. The association represents the common economic, technical and scientific interests of this unique and diverse industry.

With our broad-based organizational structure and the know-how of more than 500 employees worldwide, we support companies in making the right decisions.

For many years, the digital economy in Berlin-Brandenburg has been represented, networked and represented in politics and society by the industry association SIBB e.V.

The SIBB ensures an active exchange far beyond the boundaries of the digital economy. In the age of comprehensive digitization of economic processes, the association addresses a wide range of industries that want to promote digitization in their companies with its professional services and the TOP experts of its members. With its wide range of services, the SIBB promotes the exchange, cooperation, knowledge growth and internationalisation of the entire digital economy in the region.

The "Erfolgsfaktor Familie" corporate program is the central platform on the topic of reconciling family and career. With the corporate program, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, together with the leading associations of German business (BDA, DIHK, ZDH) and the German Confederation of Trade Unions (DGB), is working to make family-friendliness a hallmark of the German economy.
